Our Authors
We are growing. We encourage a disparate range of creatives to publish their ideas in book form.Rosemary McKenzie
Rosemary McKenzie is an academic at The University of Melbourne. She was brought up on a farm in northern Victoria and continues to pursue her passion for animals and the natural environment in the forested hills of central Victoria. She is an indulgent but often exasperated co-resident to a menagerie of cats, dogs, lambs, cows, alpacas and brumbies – not to mention the many kangaroos and wombats venturing into her garden on a regular basis. Rosemary’s recent publications are in the health field.

Jane Pirkis
This is Jane’s first foray into the world of children’s literature. In her other life she is a research psychologist and has published extensively in the area of mental health. Writing about weeing dogs may seem like a strange departure from writing about mental health issues, but actually there is a logic to it. If she has learned anything while working in the mental health field, it is that the most effective strategy is to get in early. Making children laugh has to be a good start.
